Azita A. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has participated in numerous TV programs. She is an actress from Afghanistan who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing her country of birth her family, they moved to America. US. She was given asylum, and were allowed to remain. She is the middle sister of two sisters. She was brought up in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada began her career in the field of TV through a handful of National Commercials. Ghanizada starred as Chiara in the Laura Neri production A Kiss on the Nose (2003). In recognition of her performance, she was nominated during the Festival of Cannes for Best Actress. Her TV guest-starring performances are How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. In recent times, she was in independent comedies You Only Better and Blood Shot 2009 and the action-science film Blood Shot. In 2008, Ghanizada became part of the cast for the General Hospital prime-time spin-off General Hospital. as Dr. Saira Bhata, an expert in holistic health care in the second season of Night Shift.
